We just bought our first house last December. I love having a house to live in but I hate having to pay a mortgage. It's so much money!!! The prices for houses here have gone up so fast. We had to move an hour away from everything just to afford a house. It can cost as much a $250,000 US dollars for a house that is 2,000 square feet. It cost so much just to have a roof over your head.

There is also all the stress of which mortgage company to use, who has the best rates, and so on..... Then after we finally get all that figured out, we just refinance again. AHHHHHH! Then you have all the closing costs and such......I guess that is just the price of buying your own home. I do think it is worth it, it can just be way too complicated for me. I am glad my husband can understand all that. I would be so lost. When I hear all those big words and figures about interest rates and the different kinds of loans there are I just get lost and stare at the person with this stupid blank look on my face as I nod my head silly pretending to understand.

Glad I am married to a smart man who nods his head with real sincerity. I love him for so many reasons!
