I was doing so well, then I screwed up by eating cake at a birthday party. The cake led to another slice. Then the next day I went on a suger binge of frosted ginger cookies, peanut butter from the jar, and a pint of ice cream, all in one sitting. I also ate 3 burgers and 2 hot dogs. That was all though, I didn't eat anything else. I don't like that this happened, but once you slip up a bit, you can't help it. And truthfully, though I've lost about 3 pounds in 10 days, I don't feel much better. I still feel fat and undesirable. I still get stared at in ways I don't like. What's the point of trying to lose 10-20 pounds when I don't think I'll feel any different?

    You wont feel different after 3lbs but you will after 20. And the good news is the less you weigh, the less weight you have to lose to notice it...Concentrating on dieting is what is leading you to failure...

    I wish I could just have some self-control! I think of food too much though, and feel lousy when I'm not munching. Maybe I'm meant to look this way. Maybe this dieting is all in vain.

    Okay Beth try this-Wake up-make yourself take a shower and drink some coffee...if you dont drink coffee-start-You will be clean and feel good and have the pick me up to go do something productive-trust me-I have days where I sit around and munch also--I feel terrible-I know I should have jumped in the shower and had my coffee and gotton productive for the day. Turn on your fav music, drink your coffee and clean your room or your apt and you will really feel good-eventually you wont always need food to comfort you-but sweetie having a piece of cake=---IS TOTALLY OKAY
