4. Vitamin D
Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble prohormones, the two major forms of which are vitamin D2 or ergocalciferol and vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol. It promotes bone formation and mineralazation and is essential in the development of an intact and strong skeleton. However, at very high levels it will promote the resorption of bone. A deficiency can cause rickets, Osteomalacia and Osteoporosis.
5. Vitamin E
Vitamin E is the collective name for a set of eight related tocopherols and tocotrienols, which are fat-soluble vitamins with antioxident properties. It has been used in the treatment of reducing scaring, cancer, nausea during pregnancy, heart disease, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
6. Vitamin K
Vitamin K is normally produced by bacteria in the intestines, and dietary deficiency is extremely rare unless the intestines are heavily damaged or are unable to absorb the molecule. It is required for blood coagulation. It has been know to aid bone growth and repair.
