  This is great news Queenie as long as the pool boy didn't do it haha. You might want to call the Vet for information about this.
   
  She might need extra food for when the pups are growing, she'll need a good bed to have the pups in. Dogs are pretty good at taking care of themselves about things like this, but get a pamlet or talk to the Vet ok?

  Oh, yes, little purple pups!! I want to see pictures!  I also think dogs and cats for the most part take care of themselves pretty well.  there is no reason why she can't have a bath I would say!  But, mobils adive.. check with a vet and get the info right from a dr.  good luck....  :)

  Sure you can bath her. If her puppies are healthy they will live. You just feed her well. Give her good nourishing food.

  I did a quick look around and didn't see anything about baths.  My guess is that if baths were bad, all these vet websites I looked at would've had warnings not to bathe a pregnant dog.  It seems like bathing was such a non-issue it didn't even come up.
  
  My guess would be go ahead.  Especially if it's hot, you don't want her overheating!  I would say just make it lukewarm water so it's not a shock to her system, and maybe try to keep the soap and dirty water away from her private parts so as not to irritate/cause infection?  I'm just making educated guesses here, I don't really know anything specifically about pregnant dogs.
  
  I did find information that says that a)around 3 weeks pregnant she might go off her food for a while and that's normal.  Around 5-6 weeks pregnant you can start giving her puppy food (it's richer and helps her have enough energy for a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and nursing) and she can have that until she's done nursing.  By the end of the pregnancy and during nursing she'll have doubled or more her food intake.  No vitamin supplements and especially not calcium.

  I just always gave mine extra food because they seem to be hungrier.  Make sure she gets a little exercise.  I think Mother Nature kind of just takes over.  Dogs have good instincts about what they need to do.
