Last weekend, we had the unique experience of presenting a landmark performance of “Joseph Smith the Prophet” in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. We couldn't have asked for a more powerful experience than what took place Friday and Saturday. The almost 300-voice choir (including almost 100 singers who traveled from Arizona) was large and magnificent, the soloists and narrators were perfect, and the orchestra was dynamic and powerful. The packed audiences were extremely responsive, on their feet immediately after the last note in an enthusiastic ovation. And we were honored and privileged to have President Monson, President Uchtdorf and Elder Nelson in attendance. I believe I speak for everyone involved when I say that, to be able to bear powerful testimony of the Prophet Joseph in song in such a sacred, historic place, with so many talented people and with the modern-day prophet and apostles in attendance, was an experience none of us will forget.
