My daily routine is my way of making me feel things are in control
Everyday I wake up at 8am. Carry Fudge down the spiral staircase since he doesnt know how to go up and down the spiral staircase.
Wash and refill his water bowl. Spread out his new newpaper.
Next remove the cage cover of Ebony. Replace the newspaper in the catcher. Replace the water in his drinking bowl, add the vitamins. Give her chopped fruits and her pellet food. Play the song One hello for her to listen to.
Then i go to the hamsters. Remove their cover. Refill the feeding dish with sunflower seeds. Replace some of soiled saw dust.
Then I go upstairs wake up my daughter, fix the bed. Cook her breakfast and eat breakfast with her.
By that time Fudge already finished doing his business so I would replace the soiled newspaper and ready his brunch.
I would the wash the dishes and prepare for lunch. This summer my sister does the cooking and I do the dishes for lunch.
At lunch time I would then bring Ebony's bath basin in her cage. Let her soak in it and bathe. When she's done I would be wiping the spills and sprinkles around the floor and in her cage. Once again replace the newspaper that is now wet in the catcher.
Eat lunch. Wash dishes. Then from 1 till 5pm I am free to surf soulcast, the net, read my book, or play PSP. All day long I would then be replacing fudge's soiled newspaper.
At 5pm I would then bring Ebony's cage out to the porch for her to get some fresh air. Bring fudge for his play time and walk him around the neighborhood and let him play with his friends. After walking around when we get home I would wash fudge's feet, wipe it dry and check if some tick or flea happen to crawl up to him. Bring back ebony inside the house.
At 7pm I would then cover Ebony's cage for to be able to sleep.
At 9pm I would then replace the water bottles of the hamsters, refill their feeding bowl and play with them in order to keep them tame.
Then carry fudge up to the room so he could go to his crib and get some sleep. I would then go down once again. Sweep the floor. Mop the floor with disinfectant.
Take a long hot shower, watch a little till my hair is dry. Check on soulcast once again or surf. With any luck I may be able to sleep by midnight if my insomnia doesnt bother me.
Yeah basically that is my daily routine with regards to my pets. On other days include the bathing time of fudge, the cleaning of the hamster cages and Ebony's cage too. Laundry general cleaning of the bedroom also.
By june things will get more complicated because it will be back to school time.
