I applied for college this afternoon. I made the decision that I want to go back to college a long time ago. I've lived in California for over a year now, nearly two actually, so I don't have to pay out of state tuition. I plan to start in the fall. I would love get going in the summer semester but I can't with the wedding happening right in the middle of it lol. So in the fall, August to be exact, I will begin my pre-reqs for the Ultrasonography program. In about three years I will be through the program. Not very long. The last two have flown past. I'm so excited!
But I'm nervous too. I graduated high school ten years ago. Working full time and going back to school is going to be fun and interesting and definitely a challenge. I know I'll make though, especially with Jon backing me up and supporting me. It feels really great to have a plan. Work and go to school for three years. Get some good experience for a year or two. Take a traveling job that pays well. Travel for a few years and decide where we want to settle down. Take vacations, visit family, go to Ireland and Scotland. Enjoy life and each other without worrying about finances all the time.
I can hardly wait!
