Tomorrow morning we are getting up early and going to visit Renee at college.  She is the LORAX(Dr. Seuss book) in a children's play so we are going to go and watch her perform. She is also in a choral concert tomorrow night so we will watch her perfom in that also. Olia and I made chocolate fudge to take to Renee. SHe loves mixing ingredients. Olia likes to cook, but she isn't great in the clean-up department!

     Olia and Katelyn played after school today.  Katelyn couldn't stay too long because she had a softball game.  Olia wanted to know what "we were going to do" after Katekyn left.  Olia never wants to just stay at home and not have something planned to do.  I was outside gardening so Olia joined in and started helping me spray the weeds. Then Olia and I swept the patio.  As soon as Dan came home, she got the key for the tractor and drove it around the yard for a bit.  We had a ton of tadpoles on our pool cover.  Olia and I got some of them out with the skimmer and put them in our goldfish pond.  I had thought that the tadpoles were too big for the goldfish to eat.  But I was wrong! When we poured a few tadpoles into the pond, one of the big goldfish came over and swallowed it in one fell swoop.  Olia was really upset. 

     Dan and Olia were watching TV last night and a sad commercial came on about animals from the SPCA. The commercial showed abused and disabled animals and Olia had tears streaming down her face.  She wanted Dan to take her to the SPCA to rescue one of the animals.  Dan explained that we got our two cats from the SPCA and that we didn't want any more animals.

   Olia is fascinated by crime shows.  She likes to watch NCIS and Law and Order, etc.  Maybe she'll be a forensic scientist one day!

   My friend Jackie was supposed to watch Olia after school today because we don't usually get out of court until later than Olia gets home.  The judge dismissed court early so I called my friend and told her that she didn't have to come and watch Olia.  I think Olia was disappointed that I greeted her after school and not Jackie.  She had plans to jump rope with Jackie!
