Submissions Sought for LDS Church Art Competition
---------------------------------------------------
The Museum of Church History and Art is seeking submissions from around the
world for the Eighth International Art Competition. Members of The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who are ages 18 and older by
December 31, 2008, are invited to submit their original artwork around the
theme of "Remembering the Great Things of God."
International
Art Competitions are held every three years to highlight new work by both
professional and amateur Latter-day Saint artists. The winners of this
year's competition---approximately 225 pieces
total---will be displayed in the Museum of Church History
and Art in 2009.
For complete information, go to

-----------------------------------------------------
Every three years the Museum of Church History and Art invites Latter-day Saint artists around the world to create new works of art to share with members of the Church worldwide. Information about upcoming competitions and previous competitions is available here.
