When I'm angry at someone who has done something irritating, I've always liked to follow up by saying "bite me." I think it's rather funny, but I think the meaning could be misconstrued. So I'm asking you. If someone said "bite me" to you, how would you react? Is it funny or a downright insult?

I'd laugh. I say it now and then, but you do need to know your audience.BTW, my first husband had those two words tattooed on his ass. He "surprised" me with them. Can you imagine that conversation? -
