  The first time I heard Morphine's 'Cure for Pain' I had goosebumps - other songs that have bowled me over are Dire Straights 'Brothers in Arms', and Van Morrison's 'In the Garden'. Actually there are so many more - I could go on and on....

  hmmmm i have a couple, i like everything is everything by lauren hill, drive by incubus, silly hoe by tlc, um closeure by chevelle, going under by evanesnce, lithium but evanescene, there is a few more, but those are the 1s off  the top of my head,

  Oh, there's a whole psychology thesis sitting in my music collection - my first love is punk rock - Bad religion, Rancid, etc and they would probably be horrified to find themselves sitting next to Abba and other stuff, but there you go. I know all the artists you've mentioned save for Chevelle - never come across them.....
