I love geeky girls...my son is a true science and tech geek. Which is why he is better suited for homeschooling. Its just not cool to be interested in anything in Jr. High. I love that she has a mouse skull but, yes it does need to be removed from the dining table, EWWW!
  • Fallyn said on Apr 21, 2008....

the things we do for love?
my son brought in a pair of deer antlers last summer and thought they made a great table decoration.  if he wasn't my son, i'm not sure he'd have survived that-

i always tell my girls "it's a good thing you're so cute."

Geeks used to perform in circus sideshows bitting the heads off of chickens or worse. Now it's anyone who isn't mainstream. Does she sleep with it?
  • Trinov said on Apr 22, 2008....
Hi, have you checked out the indigo children web sites? (try the more mainstream ones first).

Indigo children are kids with purple auras--very high spiritually and intellectually and now they say there are kids with white auras, really up there. They tend to be somewhat rebellious, different, brilliant, and are often labeled 'trouble-makers' by school systems that are used to dealing with less imaginative- opinionated- brilliant children.

I had the privelege of teaching a few of these kids, it was a privilege.

Homeschooling is probably the best in most circumstances unless there is a school for really bright kids in the neighborhood. I pray that these children are allowed to become what G-d sent them down here to become--to save this world--and not drugged with ritalin or who knows what to keep them quiet.

    Long live these little geeks!

Art is different for kids than it is for adults. It is very important for children to be able to create arts and crafts on their own without copying from an adults model...
She's 28. She's mentioned in my last blog, about a really good day.

Today I met her daughter. Her son is seven, who I haven't met yet. I'm sure we'll get on fine, I have a stepdad who was pretty awesome when him and my mum started out. We're ...
