The sun is finally shining here today and it's supposed to reach the mid 70's.  The rumor is that spring might actually be here.

It's been such a long winter.  It's tried it's best to drag me into a funky rut.  I've been clinging to the hope of spring and today it just might be here.

Today I'll have to go to a First Communion and then a reception to follow.  The little boy is a dear one, but this nice weather will sure improve my mood as I interact with the rest of the in-laws.  I'm sure they'll be counting on me to do the dishes as always.  Maybe I'll disappear outside with the children when it's time for that though.  I'm a little tired of being nice sometimes. Babysit or do dishes?  I'll choose babysitting even if they run wild like banshees...and they will.

The wonderful weather will make the day pass better.

Does it feel like spring where you are?

Today is cloudy but warm. Tomorrow and the next few days are going to be sunny and in the high 70s. Doing the happy dance.

I missed putting out an early spring garden because of all the rain. BUT, i've got bunches of seeds up and envelopes of seeds to plant this week. It, Spring is finally here. *sigh*

I wish you all the warmth and brightness of Spring. Yes, it will help pass the days. Take care of yourself. ~see ya

Not that I am complaining, but I think it went from winter right into summer here.. I am ready to mow my front lawn already.  It was almost 80 here yesterday and today too.  and in the 70s all week.  wow what a change huh?  I am liking the warmth of the sun though.  Hope you have fun with the little ones!

Oh yes it's been a long and severe winter all over now, has it not. I am glad for you. The day was nice here but only in the 50's. It comes slowly here and the 70's is the top here anyway.

    MMI,
You sound like you are going to be busy.  Enjoy yourself.  :)

    quietone,
It hasn't been too bad of a day.  The kids were pretty well behaved and I didn't volunteer to do dishes.  :-)

    skald,
I'll bet even the 50's feel good to you after such a long winter.  I hope you enjoy the warmer days.

It does feel like Spring today...but, I'm not going to believe it is actually here until the weather stays above 60 for a week. It has been faking me out for the past month already. Getting my hopes up and then snowing!

    vacant,
You do make a good point.  It's faked me out a couple of times too.  Let's hope it's playing fair this time.

oh hell no....we were up to almost 80 last weekend.....this weekend we got snow! It was freakishly weird weather.

I think the weather has finally broken everything appears to be in full bloom . A few years ago I made a mistake by planting some expensive shrubbery a little to early . A freak snow storm poped up and wiped them out. I will never plant anything outside before May from now on. I guess you know what will happen now that I have said that. The more vegetation I plant the more work I have to do ( trimming & weeding ) I don't know why I bother. I love the warm weather but I seem to spend alot of time mowing grass. No sooner then I cut the back it's time to start on the front again . Maybe I should invest in a few goats.

    D6,
Isn't that the pits?  I hope the snow melts fast for you.

    CayenneMan,
I love the warm weather too.  I don't cut the grass here though.  I used to, but I was sick all summer with my allergies.  He finally took it over.   The grass breaks me out and makes me itch even when I just walk through it.  Why I chose to live on a farm is beyond me.

Do you have a nice acreage to mow?  It sounds like you keep it nice.

    queen,
Yes, I will soon!  :-)  That's something to look forward to.  I would love summer year round.

CreativeWomen, not enough to film the remaking of The Wizard Of Oz but enough to keep the property taxes interesting. I'm starting to notice more bees this year. I better call Al Gore.

    queen,
I think I could take the heat a lot better than the cold.   You know, the grass is always greener on the other side.  :-)

    CayenneMan,
There's always a catch to having something nice.

I'm sure Al would be happy to hear from you.  :-)  Buzzzzzz!

when you wrote this, it absolutely did not--it was unpleasant out. but the forecast here for the rest of this week is distinctly springy, and potentially almost summery! :>
