Since several have been messaging me asking me if I'm ok after the earthquake, I thought I'd make a post.
As you probably know already, Indiana and Illinois had an earthquake this morning. I live in North East Indiana. The epicenter was in southern Illinois - about a six hour drive from me. I didn't notice the original quake, as I was in a vicodin induced sleep. The news says the initial quake registered about a .1 on the richter where I live.
We ARE however, feeling the aftershocks tremble. Just a few minutes ago I felt one, and that was the third one I had felt. They're saying on the news that particular aftershock was a 4.5 on the richter. This whole building shook for about eight seconds.
I've been in earthquakes before. Way back in the 80's when I lived in California. At least it's just the aftershocks this time.
It's not even scary. =) So, we're all fine, and thanks to all of you who have expressed concern.
