"I've been very excited for the Darkmoon Faire and finally got a chance to check it out today. While I was there I noticed a high level (60+. ) Night Elf hunter, presumably doing Faire stuff. I figured, hey, the Faire's pretty much a neutral area, and she can't attack us anyway--just ignore her. It seems like not everyone shares my attitude of leaving folks alone if they're not bothering you--or at least the 3-4 level 10s that came along didn't. They started swearing and talking very rudely about the player in /say, I beleive a couple of emotes were used as well, and when I pointed out that the elf wasn't doing anything to bother them, the response was basically ""lolol u not reel hord i can pwnzorz u on lvl 70 main kk"", though perhaps I am exaggerating the poor quality of the typing. There was a weird level of real hate there, though, way more than just roleplaying--and since it's not an RP server, that's not a very good excuse either. Now, I don't like Alliance players, as a rule, and if they're causing trouble they do make me angry (though not as much as the Horde players who won't do anything about it). But I knew what I signed up for when I rolled on a PvP server, and I know we do plenty of things to Alliance, too. I feel that the least I can do is show basic respect to players of the other faction, until they do something rude, and hope that they will be courteous to me as well. On a more specific note, I know I might like to visit the fair when it's in Alliance territory, and I'd hope that I wouldn't run into jerks like that. I mean, if they're going to go all ""it's RPing!"" on me, I can do the same...and if I did, I suppose I'd have to tell them that they're a disgrace to the Horde as a whole. You know, given their rude behavior, and the fact that we're not actually at war with the Alliance right now, and all that. I have no idea what they'll do when they get to Booty Bay...
wow leveling Anyway, this is the first time I've run into something like this, and I guess I have to wonder, is it common. Or is it only on PvP servers. (and if anyone has experience with this sort of thing on an RP-PvP server, that would be really nice to know, as my fiance and I have been talking about transferring once I hit 70) I have 2 emotes on macro, /wave and /smile.
cheap wow power leveling Last week I waved to a Dwarf warrior when I landed in Blade's Edge to do the new daily. A few moments later I found myself surrounded by those stupid worms and to my surprise that warrior came over and helped me fight them. This, of course, is generally the exception and not the rule.
wow or Granted I play on a PvE server, but there are some people who take the whole faction thing way too seriously. I get spit on repeatedly while picking an herb, by a Night Elf who happens up just as I am about done with the process. Why, I have no clue, I did nothing to him! Some people just have to be jerks.
wow powerleveling And granted, yes, I am a girl and am very sensitive and thin-skinned and take every insult personally. But I see the other characters as real people(well, they are!) and I have always been taught to treat people the way you would want to be treated. So I try desperately to be nice to everyone.
gold für wow Not too many people like me though!"
