As I searched through her blogs, preparing this tribute, I found gift after gift that she imparts to us, her friends, either through her choices of music, poetry, lyrics to songs, funny things we can participate in, her humor is delightful!
I found several dedications she did for different soulcasters, just because they came to her mind, and they were in her heart, like the one below she did for Creative Woman....

The reason I say just some of her friends, because after reading her blogs last night, I realized that all of Soul Cast are PAPERBACKWRITER'S friends!

I apologize if I have not replied soon enough.
After being in the hospital, I thought I would have enough time to blog while recuperating. But Piet and I needed the time to organize a lot of things for the move from Germany to his home in Holland.
I read SC daily, as my habit but did not have the peace to comment. Sometimes, I could not resist the urge and did all the same.
After posting this blog, I had problems getting online because my laptop kept crashing on me again. . .Anyway, I am finally being reasonable and composing this in Word.

Kyle ~ I typed a rather long comment to you dear friend, as I originally posted this blog but lost it after having a system failure for the umpteenth time! It was 2 am and I gave up before I totally got frustrated and throw my laptop out of the window to the streets!
The gist of my message was:
I am so proud of you for introducing blackthorn to everyone in SoulCast. I am glad infernal encouraged you to do so (she is so wise!)
. . .I did not trust myself; my head was messed-up, as it is ,to tell you how to go about your life - your blogging life at least!
I wished I would have been more a courageous friend, though; I wish I would have been bold enough to tell you that you are a beautiful person, a very caring friend which I learned while getting to know you independently as e_t and as black but later knowing you as both, you became magnificent, to my eyes...
And those eyes became very misty reading you share the entire you in SC. (((hugs)))

My mother-in-law was chatting one summer vacation with Jillian (I think she was around 4 then) , telling her she had to ask advice from the lady in the shops when she buys presents for her and her little sister (Kim was 1 at the time) because she reared 2 boys.
She concluded, she would have wanted girls but it was not to be. And Jillian replied: well, you have two sons, now you have two grand-daughters!
In this spirit, I wish you lots of grand-daughters! And I´m wishing for lotsa grand-sons :D!

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise if I have in the past not replied to comments in my blog. It has never been anything personal, only my lack of words in times of depression.
But I always strive to overcome this paralysis - and you all have all, time and again helped me, if not by your presence here but by sharing slices of your life here in SC, which inspires and strengthen me in my struggles.
