so this is my first blog and for the first time in my life i don't quite know what to say or how to go about it - but i think that eventually i'll get the hang of it. after all, it can't be that hard!

when i saw the posting on yahoo hot jobs, i thought shit, this might be a great way to hustle some money writing for someone, since my job as an editorial assistant at hangdog press (it's a fictious name so i don't get sued) doesn't pay all that well. no wait, lemme correct myself, it doesn't pay at all. i'm pretty certain that it's close to the haitian minimum wage. it feels degrading when i have to consider if i should pay my college loans and my exorbitant cell phone bill or if i should go out to eat with my girlfriend of the past year. . . how i met my girlfriend is kinda funny. you see, i work with her. and technically, she's one of my bosses. our company is extremely small and it seems that almost everyone, except this one clueless bastard knows about it.

but in any case. it's nice to be on soul cast. i've heard that it pays. but does anyone know what the deal is with this?
