Today’s my birthday. Wow, if I had known that I would make it to this age I might have done less partying, and more studying earlier in my life. I would have listened to my parents (who knew then that they were so smart). I would have paid closer attention to God, who was leaving subtle hints all over the place, so God didn’t have to use a sledgehammer. I guess it’s safe to say many things would have been different.
It’s interesting though; if I had not gone through the things that I have I would not be the person I am today, and I like me today. I used to often fantasize about being able to go back in time and smack myself, and yell “WAKE UP!” Then I think, if I could do that I would be someone totally different. I might not be sitting here now writing this; I might not be alive; I might be sitting here writing about some part of my life that would not otherwise exist.
Hey it’s my birthday bear with me. I don’t know what this new year of life will bring, but I’m looking forward to finding out, and I didn’t always see things that way. Life has become worth living, and I hope that everyone can feel as good about their lives as I feel about mine. That’s all. Peace and Long Life
Love Worf
