Same story:
Act One
Boy meets girl.
Boy kisses girl.
Girl kisses boy.
Boy and girl date.
Six months later. Boy proposes. Girl accepts. He slides the ring on her finger. Boy and girl go to the altar. Boy and girl get married.
One year later.....
Act Two
I'm sitting here next to my husband. I'm on my computer; he's on his. As I try to concentrate, I hear the windchester chimes song springing from his mouth. He reads this blog, and continues to sing. I love him dearly, more than anything in the world. Now he has started clinking pots and pans in the kitchen. Thump. Clink.
Over the clinking of pans, I hear more singing. "I won't cry, I won't cry. I won't shed a tear..."
And the song goes on....
Now he's singing about the blogs I write.
Then, he yells out, "I don't want to be Peggy Bundy, a statement made before we got married, and I am taken back to the very place I made that statement. Perhaps it was a premonition.
Silence. The beep of the microwave. He sings about me with a cute grin and a twinkle in his brown eyes.
I loved them then and I love them even more now.
I turn my face back to the computer screen.
He sings the same song again. I smile lovingly.
The clink of pots and pans again.
Dinner is served.
The music returns and he sings. "You are so beautiful, you are so beautiful to me...."
More endearing song babbling. The water runs.
Act Three
Boy meets girl. Boy marries girl. Boy and girl live happily ever after. And the song goes on.
This is a day in the life of me.
