pulsing, thriving, dying.
a city is an organism.
it just keeps going around you.
you never know what's going to be around the next corner.
completely new....completely old....all at the same time.
you can barely see the sky.
the road system curls around the skyscrapers in and out and around.
this city of mine.
oddly futuristic. like the jetsons.
one minute you're underground, the next atop an overpass stacked 5 high.
go past the pier, the museums, the little artsy places, the high end fashion shops, the coffee places....oh the coffee places.....at LEAST one per block.
this is seattle after all.
up into the little windy streets full of quaint old houses.......
down into the warehouses and shipyards,
past the run down abandoned places.
it's all alive.
even the dead looking places are alive. and i love it for what it is.
so different everywhere you look.
different and alive.
