Today, was a good day. . .I smiled and I laughed. . .but mostly I was grateful.

Now, I am curious :D

What tickles your funny bones? What kind of sense of humour do you have? Do you ever wonder why you find something funny that others don´t and vice-versa?

You could take this quiz if you want to know it quick or this test , or even both to find out. Please copy and paste the result in the comment box; it will be much appreciated!

Or just simply share in your own words what makes you instantaneously smile or gurgle with laughter. . .

For the first time in days, I feel like sleeping before 2 am. . .so, I will post the result of my own quiz and test tomorrow for you to view.

I bid you goodnight SoulCast. . .and sweet dreams! May the sandman bring you ticklish dreams. . .

I dedicate this post to Twylarants & pickersplock whose comments I read around, and in my own blog, never fail to make me gurgle with laughter. . .

I got Absurd on the quiz and Banter on the test.  I think the two together describe me pretty well :)

My answer was Satirical for the first one and I tried to take the second one, but it wanted me to register. I'm too lazy for that! But I'm really glad that you find humor in my blogs :-)

I got "Satirical" which fits me to a T!  I love the use of irony in all its forms!

Dark...  It was because of the cat joke, I think...

See if this works if not the joke is on me.

Well it. It said my sense of humor is absurd.

Hi, I've come back to soul cast after a fairly lengthy hiatus...Cruising around, I found your blog and had to take the test (internet quizzes and tests are a weakness of mine, alongside chocolate and scarves) and I got satirical and sarcastic - spot on! It is intriguing what it is that amuses us all. The Office (both British and American) satiate my funny bone everytime - they are my absolute laugh out loud moments. And I can watch them over and over...gotta love Dwight Schrute! Thanks for posting such a cool little quiz!

Queen, your sense of humor is Goofy Humor

You have your standards: They may be low, but at least you have them. Sure, subtle wit makes some people grin and say, "Now that's funny." But you know the Three Stooges makes people howl with laughter. It's the physical stuff, the poop jokes and funny voices, that get you going because you have a goofy sense of humor. You have no problem making a fool of yourself as long as your moves to "fake" a fall break the ice and make people feel comfortable.

Wit, sarcasm, and satire can get lost in the translation, but a whoopee cushion is universal. Yes, it may be lowbrow — heck, it may even be nobrow, but getting laughs is what matters to you. From ye old court jesters to the kids of South Park, you and your goofy sense of humor are in good company.

    so true.. =)

Sorry, sooo late, me lovies! Thanks for sharing!

Here are my results. . .

    from the quiz :

    ABSURD
Does nonsense make sense to you? Then absurd comedy might be your fish. Did you know that there is actually a word that means "saying something totally illogical"? It's called a "non-sequitur" and comedians use them to abruptly confuse or surprise you. In fact, some people like director Terry Gilliam and comedian Steven Wright invent entire imaginary universes in which logic is rewritten to include "cordless extension cords" and people who can "levitate birds." Although some people might think your sense of humor is merely nonsensical or silly, it's actually quite clever. You need to know the laws of logic before you can break them. And we think you're criminal.
