Can someone please explain to me what exactly is John McCain’s platform. From what I can tell John McCain is running basically on the same platform that President Bush ran on in 04’. So in effect George Bush is running for a 3rd term by proxy though McCain. How scary is that!

i believe john mccain's platform is "whatever it takes for the GOP and the voting public to vote for me!" he's already demonstrated in this election that despite his long-standing tradition of holding social conservatives at arm's length he's willing to forego his principles and no longer be the maverick that first brought him to national attention, if you ask me.
