If there was any other person I would like to do a "life" swap with, it would be Pickers! Oh, don't get me wrong here. I know she has her challenges like the rest of us, and i don't know, maybe there are even days she feels like she would like to do a "life" swap with someone, but she has a very interesting life!
Read her blogs and you will see what I mean. But, I think the thing I like most about her life, is that she gets to teach dance.
Not only would like to teach it, I would like to be able to "dance!" I have never been able to do anything more than the two-step. I have two "left" feet. I have taken different classes and never have succeeded. One time they even pasted the feet on the floor and all I had to do was follow the footprints, and I clumbsied myself through that.
But, Aw, what it must be like to be able to dance, and to instruct others to do likewise. The people she must meet! The stories she could tell, and some she has in her blogs.....
I also like her perspective on life and the world. She has some very interesting views, as well as entertaining. The sense of humor she has not only sees her through her days, but when she shares them with us, how much they enrich our lives as well.
The first post I found of hers was posted on Oct. 26, 2006. I don't know if that was her first or not, because some delete some of their blogs as they go along, but I think it is actually her first blog, because the archives of her blogs seem to follow in order.
I love all of her blogs, and yes, I have read every one of them, some more than once. But this one to me is very special, there is only one I like better, and it is a favorite of many here at Soul Cast, and that one is:
I know it is everyone's favorite, because it has 1100 views on it, and all of us keep going back to it, and posting again. It is the funniest thing I have ever done, was make up these funny screen names for all of us...

She worked at a day treatment center for developmentally disabled, for a time, and he was one of the men there that she worked with and they became friends. She writes about one time in particular where they went to a fair and got into a bumper car, etc.
I thought that was one of the sweetest stories I have ever read. Her writing is very good. Don't let her modesty fool you! She writes it exactly how it happened, whatever she is sharing, and I tell you, on this one, I was right in that bumper car along side her.
She is truly delightful! I am so glad I at least know her through Soul Cast. I wish I knew her in real life too, but this will have to do, and it is truly enough, because she entertains us with her sense of humor. She shares her cooking experiences with us. She loves to cook, and she even shares her music with us.
Isn't that a wonderful thing? I liked the time when she shared music we would have heard if we were in her dance class:
