so today is april first, meaning it's also april fool's day. this is one of my perennial favorite days of the year, just cuz i'm a goofball. :>
now, today is the one day on the calendar that you expect someone to play a prank on you. that of course means that it's all the harder to pull it off on this date.
so what are some of your best april fool's day pranks? :D

Guild Wars pulled one today that had a lot of people freaking out. It's not uncommon to spend a crazy amount of time/platinum creating the perfect armor set. Well, when you log in today, all you see is a stick figure. :-D (If you're not max level, you're normal.)
Bunch of low-level characters were walking around going, "WTF happened to you??" while those of us who'd recovered from the initial "OMG, where'd my armor go? Where'd my FACE go??" enough to laugh all lined up to dance in sync.
Myself, though, I don't do pranks. If I did, I'd probably call my mom and tell her I was pregnant, then wait until I heard her start breathing again to yell "April Fool's!" :-D

I pull pranks throughout the year... If I saved it up for just once a year, my head would blow. :)
I don't joke around as much as I used to... In college, I was an incorrigible prankster. Wedge pennies in the door, lean a garbage can of water against the door, flood the showers, shaving cream on the hand... You name it. :)
Today's the birthday of a girl I know. Her birthday's been a long running joke amongst my circle of friends. :D

I don't know that I have any great pranks. This morning, I told my girls that school had been cancelled because of the rain. They believed me for about 5 seconds.
When my husband worked for the Patrol, he sent around fake memos on April 1st; his co-workers actually looked forward to seeing what he was going to come up with from year to year. One of the community "programs" he proposed in one set of memos was called STUDS and its companion program was called MORE STUDS. I can't remember what the letters stood for, unfortunately.

I thought no one was going to come up with this. I don't have any pranks but the papers and TV tried to play pranks on people as usually. Worst thing is one never believes anything on April's fools day.
I remember when people were asked to look for a kengeruru Oh my god how do you spell this. Kangaroo , in their gardens . Imagine looking for that Australian animal here Once I was in England and they said there was a new devise on the market smellevision.

April first is my birthday! I turned 38 yesterday! It turned out one of the best birthdays ever! I received lots of handmade cards from my students, many hugs and a beautiful card in a box with a glass front from my daughter! Only God knows where she got it from but it was good surprise.

Thanks! I'm pulling people's legs all the time.. and I do make people laugh.. but I have more of a sarcastic and whacky kind of sense of humor. I find strange things funny sometimes. But I'm not much of a practical joker. Thats where all my leg pulling victims get back at me! -
