I am not sure exactly what happened to my cat, but her left leg is gouged pretty bad, and I took her to the vet and had them give her some antibiotics and he wrapped it around a splint, not that it is broken but he thought it would be the best way to keep her from trying to undo her bandaging, and also help support her when she walked.
She is doing better already and is keeping very close to my side.
