    For second hand furniture go to Murrays in Chennai. They have weekly auction of items. It is quite cheap provided you go and examine the stuff early.

    It is in Mount Road. The advertise in all local newspapers about the weekly auctions of furniture. Just watch the Hindu classified columns.
