Sheesh! It's good to be back.
I am happier than I have ever been. I feel like a load has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I am free. I finally feel like things are going my way.
For starters, I broke up with my boyfriend of seven years. I moved out of our apartment and in with my best friend. Breaking up and moving hasn't been easy as pie but it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I still love him dearly, but know I was never going to be truly happy with him. I can not even tell you how exciting and amazing it is to be single. I began dating my ex when I was 15, so I feel like I have never been single before. I've already met some really cool people and have never felt so alive. I am finally living for ME. Not for my family, not for him, not for anyone else but me for once. I'm doing things that I want to do, when I want to do it and living life to the fullest. I'm playing sports again, I'm writing, getting up earlier, working out, watching what I eat and DATING. As a 22 year old female, I had never been on a date until recently. Things are really looking up, and I have even been more motivated to give school my all as well.
Also, I got a tattoo back in January in honor of my Dad which has actually put the dreams I had been having to rest. It has been easier talking about him and thinking about him, without getting that sick feeling in my stomach. I feel like I can finally catch my breath and get things done. I am so excited for the future and whatever that entails. Hopefully my positive thinking will continue bringing positive things in my life. We will see how well that ends up working out. Thanks soulcasters for listening to my little rant :-) Life is good...

Fallyn- Thank you, it was pretty scary at first but totally freeing. I remember you giving me advice a while back on the whole boyfriend subject, and I really appreciated the time you took to follow up with me. Thanks again and hope all is well with your guy situation :-)
lfbno7- It's a hell of a change. Sometimes I still pick up my phone thinking I have to call someone to check in or tell them where I am... then I throw that sucker back in my purse and do whatever the "F" I want, haha. It's pretty awesome.

Dating is still exciting. It's interesting and fun for me to be able to get to know different people. I have only been single for seven months, so it's still pretty new. I'm also still very young, only 22, so I have a while before I will think about seriously settling down.
