Please explain why you thinks they should or shouldn't. I'm doing this for my writing class so it would be greatly appreciated if you could please do this for me.
Hello Olisellana. I'd like to answer your question as someone who is passionate about our planet and the wildlife we share it with, but I would need more information about the drilling plant - what it is for and what sort of disruption, construction etc will come from it.
There is a place in Canada (names evades me as I'm terrible with names) where a fuel plant was built. It's an enormous construction and not the prettiest of sites but, amazingly the wildlife has more than flourished since the build. Because of the estuary banks being more sheltered, more birds and water based small mammals have made it their home. The warm water (produced as a natural by-product) flows into the estuary stopping freezing, which again has helped lower mortality rates of young and chicks.
I'm always a little nervous when I hear of anything unnatural happening on a reserve.
