Unlike some, she is a respector of persons. She comments on as many people's blogs as she can, with no respect as to if they are popular or not. She is also a caring person, but again, she doesn't wear it on her sleeve. You just are able to tell it by the way she comments on your blog.
If the subject matter needs care and concern, that is what you get. If it needs a little humor, again that is what you get. I love how creative and versatile she is. She comes up with the best ideas for bringing people together.
Remember when some of us weren't even getting along all that well? She had a "sit in" until we all started speaking to each other a little kinder. We all had a blast on that blog, didn't we?
I remember on a blog of mine in particular. I was withdrawing somewhat because It seemed no matter what I said or did, I kept stepping on some toes. So, I did a blog where I said that my door was always opened. And she was right there, and even brought pickersplock with her, and then Twylarants showed up, and we just sat there together having the best time.
She was the "life" of the party, she and Twyla, poor ol Pickersplock was really tired that night and fell asleep on us, but Lucy kept the conversation going, and kept the rest of us Laughing!
I love all of her blogs, but the one I think I like the best, is the one when she told about her "Gram". When she was a young child, she was curious as to what was in her "grams" box and finally her gram showed it to her, and it was a violin. Gram taught her how to play the violin, and when her gram passed on, the memories of her and her gram brought tears to her eyes and especially the memory of "the violin".
She can truly be sensitive in a good way. If you are in need of empathy and understanding, Lucy is the one, who can make you feel all better. We don't run into each other as much now. I don't spend as much time here as I used to, and so I can go days, it seems, before bumping into her here at "SoulCast", but it is always a treat when I do.
