What's been on your mind today?

I've had several things on my mind, things that have had nothing whatsoever to do with where I have been or what I have been doing. That seems to be the way of it lately.

My mind has been busy joining up dots, making links and generally making two plus two equal five. A veritable spider's web have I been weaving in the inner recesses of my mind.

I have been trying not to read between the lines, trying to accept things as they appear at face value and yet... my heart, my fear is telling me different.

I know that even if words are spoken sincerely they may not be for real; circumstance, time, many things can conspire to make such truths untrue.

Some days I wonder why I do this. Why do I cling onto something that seems destined to never be?

I know I have to take control and not remain passive any longer but I am afraid.  Afraid to act. Afraid to change things. Afraid that whatever I do will be wrong...

So tell me please, how have you spent your day? What distractions have you enjoyed? What entertainments have kept you from thinking on more serious matters?

I am glad you are keeping yourself busy.  I praise you for trying the best you do.  When I was between divorce and  finding another partner, I didn't do as well as you even.  I finally joined a Christian Singles group and that is how I met my second husband until he died nine years later.

Nine happy years!  Much happier than the seven I had with my first.

Alyss.......reading between the lines sometime can help to see the truth.....because is between the lines that some informations might slip, some adjective might give you a new prospective,  verb might be read in the wrong way and yet making sense... ...

Dont stop reading between the lines but after you have finished to read ...act.... follow your gut....or do some crossword.....

I really hope you can clear your mind soon...{hug}.

For once in my life I have a real reason to procrastinate. We are moving in the next few weeks and so there is no rush for me to prepare and submit any query letters. K and I know money is going to be tight for a while and if I want to continue visiting the mountains and photographing I need to make more money. So I have written up a list of projects to tackle that will hopefully earn me a couple more publications. However I will wait to submit them until after we have our new address decided.

So today I just prepared some photos and souvenirs to send to my parents and relaxed with K at home until I had to go to work. Soon I will have to renew my visa and go home hunting so I am enjoying any slack time I can make for myself.
