  Gosh, your neighbour sounds horrendous - and has no shame. I have a horrible neighbour, too. She is almost thirty and one of the roughest people I have ever met. She has had it hard, there is no doubt, but still, should I have to suffer because of that? Some of the things I hate: How she plays music loudly until the early hours, despite having two young daughters; Her constant screaming and swearing; The fact that her daughter somehow got into my yard and sh*t in it!! - AND she didnt even apologise The fact that she clearly has no consideration for anybody else as it is almost 9pm at night and she is singing karaoke - loudly and badly.... I could go on. But yes, bad neighbours are very bad. And it makes home life that little less nice. And shouldn't home be our safe haven? Grrrr..... PinkJellyBeans

  Neighbors, neighbors... ... Sometimes it's really annoying to be with them, maybe your neighbor thought you are just giving her something you don't like, of no value. My neighbor is like that and even has the nerve to tell me I should be thankful. :(

  I too echo silver's sentiments... u should give her a taste of her own bitter medicine, than she will know what it is to be annoyed... Try out some tactics like going off early, by the time she comes knockong, so that she will know that u r avoiding her, but don't make it too obvious...

  Hahaha I tried not answering, she keeps knocking every 15 mins. I tried being blunt, not answering and it's not working. She checks the stairs, so she knows exactly when I'm home.

  then i would suggest that u tell her politely and firmly that u don't appreciate at all her rude behavior... after all, Good fences make good neighbors, It is right to be smart, as long as we don't put down others or hurt others... so If i were to be in your position , I would tell her to shut up after 9 pm, or else gather all neighbors and complain to the sheriff, and ash her daughter to stay off your garden or else get a camers and take pics nsxt time she does and get it published in newspare, get attention to others to her bad behavior, and out of shame ,she will stop, Bonne Chance...

  No horror stories really. Just I usually go to bed around 1am and get up around 8 or 8:30. The woman and young girl who live upstairs have arguments at least three times a week at around 7am. I am clinging to the last hour of sleep when I hear shouting from the mother and screaming from the girl. The mother is really annoying when she's angry too. She keeps asking questions like, "Don't you know I have to get ready for work? Aren't you supposed to be up now and getting ready? Don't you think it hurts when you do that to me?" But it's all in Japanese and her tone is just so irritating. Then they stomp around on the floor. I think I need to change my sleeping schedule.
