Ariene reads (1):
Maybe it's boring to some, but unlike other presidential campaigns, I'm very concerned about the outcome of this one.

Personally, I'd like to see McCain run with Mitt Romney. But, that aside, I can't believe how many people in this country choose to ignore the plain facts about Obama.

His roots
His past
His ties
Michelle Obama's comments about America
Obama lied to Fox News when he said he had never heard Rev. Wright speak of hatred towards whites and America when he was in Church.  (When hearing that, my first thought was of Bill Clinton saying "I never had sex with that woman".)
His endorsement by "The New Black Panthers" - what does that say about this guy?
His views on foreign policy

and so on.

I see a liar, a racist, and a person with an agenda which is not so hidden anymore.

I believe if Obama was ever elected as President of the United States, the country would never be the same and not in a good way. We would see increased taxes, more benefits for blacks, many more blacks in the White House, and we could lose our standing as the last "Super Power".

A man (or woman) is only as good as his word. Obama is consistently lying. Is he really who you want looking out for your interests?

If you weren't such a racist this would be funny instead of scary.

    1. Nothing wrong with Baracks roots or past unless your a racist.
    2. At this point terribly little with his ties sans one crazy nigro.  and it's just one, don't get me wrong it's not that I agree with Reverend Wright but he's nuts.

What's wrong with blacks in the white house?  Oh wait you're racist and that's all the justification there can be for that statement.

We probably will see increased taxes.  But the same happened under Clinton and the economy improved so I'm not bitching.

How do you think we are going to lose our position as a Super Power and what do you think Obama will do to cause it?  Or is it just being black?

Of course he's lying, he's a politician.  It's their job.

Unless there is some history of racism here, I would say you (Sean) are
the one playing the racist card. I do not care for Borax because he is
a flaming socialist and we know nothing about him. He could be Osama
Bin Ladin's blood brother for all we know. Maybe that is what his passport
information would show, all his trips to the hills of Afganistan. Have you
heard the Black Panther's bull crap lately? Some scary stuff. Praising
every communist wacko who ever lived. Why are they allowed to live
in America? They are obviously enemies of the country and extremist
Muslims. If you do not want to equate Muslim with enemy, that is your
right, but I think that is what Ariene is talking about, Oblahma's ties
to the Muslim world, not his color.

  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 22, 2008....
Panthers are not muslims.  They are from the only socialists in this country.  I don't agree with all of their views but you're clearly uniformed on them.

And she clearly said that if Barack was in office that would mean more blacks in the White House.  How is that not clearly racist?  How is she not implying that there is something wrong with a black in the white house?  You're being apologetic because she agrees with your over all opinion.  At least I call bloc an idiot when I think he's wrong about something.
  • ALIENated said on Mar 22, 2008....

You said on another post that it is only natural for whites to promote
other whites and blacks to promote other blacks. Thus, more blacks
in the White House if Obama becomes president. And Glen Beck played
an excerpt of the president of the Black Panthers speaking. He went
on for several minutes praising the only God, Allah, and about every
wacko leader you could think of ... Chairman Mao, Ho Chi Min, Osama
Bin Ladin, Fidel Castro, on and on. That is pretty scary to me. Those
are all people who hate/hated America and what it stand for. Not
much different that groups of whites that stand up and praise people
    like Hitler. Just as scary.

Okay you  are missing my point. I'm not defending communism.  There are plenty of Americans particularly of the poor who agreed with that.  Despite capitalisim's hold on this country (and my agreement with such an economic system) capitalism is not by definition Americna nor is socialism by definition anti-american.  A certian dream od sucess is however.

I don't think Obama has ever had an original thought in his head. He takes other people's comments and inserts them into his speeches, time and time again. As a patriotic American, Sean, with family and friends who have served in the military for generations, I think there is something wrong with Obama's associations, roots, and agenda for this country. Of course, if your beliefs lean towads the flipside of the coin, you wouldn't. I am not a racist, Sean, but that doesn't mean I can't see what's right in front of me. Thanks for your comments, ALIENated, and your wisdom. Happy Easter! (if applicable)
  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 23, 2008....
No you are a racist.  That isn't even up for debate.  If you care to then I want you to defend "many more blacks in the White House"  You can't because it's an indefensible point.  Because it's racist hateful statement.  I'm not taking you out of context.

Once again only a racist could find fault in Obama's roots.  I'm not defending his associations because I agree that they are rotten.

What is his agenda for this country aside from sliding towards socialism?  Which uh socialist countries have stronger economies than ours, higher standards of living and better education systems than we do.  And that's somehow accomplished with an inferior economic system because Capitalism>socialism.

It's ok to be a racist, it's not ok to deny it.
  • Ariene said on Mar 23, 2008....
Sean, Blacks are a minority in this country. Although I don't look at color or sex when considering a candidate, I do look at their history and qualifications. Obama lied outright to Fox News and steals quotes from everyone else. This is not the person I want as President of this great country. So, NO, I'm not a racist. I just believe in telling it like it is............
  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 23, 2008....
What does being a minority have to do with their qualifications?  One more time.  What would be wrong with more blacks in the White House?

Obama lying he's a politician they all lie and they all do this.  Granted Obama had been squeaky clean and for some reason people took this to mean that that he was actually open an honest.  Oh no he steals quotes, again every speech maker and writer does this.  You not wanting him as president is fine, it has nothing to do with the number of blacks in the white house.

Stop lying just go look in a mirror and say I hate black people and call it a day.  It's sad because your obviously intelligent and worth debating with.
  • Ariene said on Mar 23, 2008....
I don't believe this guy has the best interests of the country in his plans for the future.  If I thought he did, I'd be sure to go out and vote for him. It's not the color of a person's skin. It's what's in their heart that matters. Being black doesn't automatically make a person good, or qualified and it certainly doesn't make his ideas acceptable without question. I made the statement about blacks in the white house, because I believe Obama is about "black power", for one. I don't for a minute believe he is about upholding the Constitution, preserving freedom and defending America against threats. I supported the invasion of Iraq, although, I think the war has gone on too long and we have to find a way for the Iraqii people to defend themselves, sooner rather than later. I wouldn't want someone who associates with white supremacist groups representing me, as an American, either. On a lighter note, how much of a racist can I be when I go out of my way to watch most Will Smith and Eddy Murphy movies, just because I like them? However, I haven't seen a Will Smith or George Clooney movie after learning they came out in support of Obama.  Lying does seem to be a characteristic of many politicians, none of whom I would vote for and I know, all too well, just how many jerks there are in the world, whether they are black, white, yellow.....  You know, Sean, when I was growing up, my mother taught me never to hate anyone. I guess she said it so many times, it stuck. To this day, I may disagree and/or disapprove of an individual's actions and beliefs, but I don't hate...because it serves no useful purpose.
  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 23, 2008....
Hate can be a powerful motivator.  I notice you didn't answer my question though but the truth is that it cant' be defended but I  did take it a tad out of context.

I don't see any reason to think that he's not going to uphold the Constitution.  Certainly no less than G.W. has.

I have figured it out, Sean. You are confusing "Ariene" with "Aryan". That
could be the root of your hostility.

Ariene is a Welsh name that means silvery.

  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 24, 2008....
No I'm concerned that she things there is something wrong with more blacks in the white house.  I'm only worried about unqualified people regardless of race.

I actually think Ariene is a pretty name though I didn't know it's definition.
  • ALIENated said on Mar 25, 2008....

I may be concerned about too many blacks in the White House as well.
Tell me, will they be playing rap music? (Sorry, could not resist.) My
take on that statement was that there might be an unfair preference
for blacks in an Obama White House, but I could be wrong. Listen, no
one wants the other "team" to get an upper hand. The thing we have
to figure out is, we (Americans) are all on the same team. We have to
stop doing our enemy's work for them.

  • SeanRenaud said on Mar 25, 2008....
But that's not what she said.

I completely agree that we have to stop doing our enemies work for them.  For the most part I'm not too worried though,we're quite a ways from doing any lasting damage to ourselves, and some of the damage has to be done
