I know all of you men are already going "There goes another woman about shoes. *yawn*. Whats the big deal about shoes!"  but indulge me please. I think the women however will understand.

Today I have bought shoes that I am absolutely in love with!

To give you a little background I should tell you that I LOVE shoes! I mean I really really LOVE shoes. Like when I was little I wanted my own 'shoe house', not a doll house.

Of late, I just haven't been able to find any shoes that I really liked. Of course I bought shoes anyway because a girl's gotta have her shoes, but they weren't ones that I was too crazy about. They were just my 'rebound' shoes. But now, I have fallen in love all over again! And I'm loving it! Ahhh.. the sky is brighter, the day is longer, the sun is shinier.. oh wait, thats just spring. But part of it is also because I'm in love all over again! I'm sure of it!

Whether it comes to shoes, clothes or accessories, my choice always leans either towards the totally classic or the totally whacky! These shoes however are somewhere in the middle. They've got a classic peep toe shape and a nice little heel but they're made of a sort of combat camouflage print fabric. They're so different, I love them!
I know that there's no reason you should care about my shoes but they're giving me such a high that I HAD to tell you!

So tell me, whats the last thing you bought that made you feel like this?

The last thing I bought that made me feel like that were theatre tickets. :) I would normally say shoes but those came before the theatre tickets. And I know how you feel about shoes. I love a good pair of gorgeous shoes.

I knew you'd understand Z!! Theatre tickets huh? The last time I bought them was for the movie 10,000 BC and I really did not feel good about that! In fact I felt pretty much ripped off.. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your theatre tickets!

Yeah, theatre tickets for the Broadway production of Lion King. :)

I think I loved the tickets so much because it was my son's first experience seeing a musical. Watching his face and the excitement dancing in his eyes is what made the purchase one of the best things I've done lately.

Oh that kind of theatre.. Sounds like a memorable experience for you son.. How nice!

Concert tickets.  When they came in the mail, I was nearly bouncing around the room with excitement.  Ooooooh!  Three weeks from tonight!

Missmimi: Have fun at your concert! Save the bouncing for the concert.. you'll get a better view of the stage. :-)

Bluegum: You know I was almost going to write "listing electrical tools as their most exciting buy allowed as well for men.".. Yea.. I do know you.. Gallop gallop gallop (galloping together).. ! ;-)

I go in stages - once it was shoes, then purses, even got off on power tools for a while and went out and bough myself a scroll saw.  I still have a love for fabric as i do love to quilt.. it is that kind of high for me when I go into a fabric shop and see all the colors one could imagine lined up in shades from light to dark....

Yes shoes are magical. My mother still had many pairs that she had never used when I cleared her house. She was crazy about shoes and bags. I guess I am crazy about bags but I don't have as many pairs of shoes as she did. Still I like shoes. lol

Quietone: Fabrics huh? Nice.. It sounds beautiful the way you describe it "all the colors one could imagine lined up in shades from light to dark".. pretty!

Skald: He he.. Well I don't have too many either.. But I just love the few that I have.. especially this one!

Cayanneman: Yea I guess that is the more traditional way to get a high.. I don't mind that kind either sometimes.. Though I prefer something milder.. Gin and Tonic maybe..
