MissMimi's tags:
First of all, it's a glorious early spring day.  Sunroof open, rock and roll cranked up loud, it was a pure pleasure to be outside today.

Now this is a hit or miss thing, and I wasn't sure I could still do it.  I don't usually go places alone; in fact, I was on my way to pick up mrMimi so he could accompany me to a doctor's appointment.  (Yes, Ed, I went.)  It's kind of a pain in the butt the way we have to do it.  Usually, I go pick him up, leaving the wc behind in the garage.  We come back and pick up the chair, and then head out to wherever.  It adds extra time, obviously.

This morning, I was was feeling like Charlotte Atlas, so I thought I'd give it a try.  Got in the car, folded the chair, and said, "okay, angel babies, it's just you and me."  Well, these angels must have had their Wheaties for breakfast, because they gave that chair the old heave-ho, and lo and behold!  It was in!

As I said, I had a doctor's appointment.  I'm still digesting the information I was given.  I may blog about it, I may not.  Right now I'm still savoring my little victory.

"feeling like Charlotte Atlas..."   That's fantastic and something I need to figure out how to do.  I'm glad you enjoyed the sunshine and the day there, and your accomplishment.  I could take a few lessons from you.   We had a weird day here weatherwise--sun, clouds, rain, snow, mix....it was snraining here!

well done, mimi. well done. :>

incidentally: is it weird that when you write "wc" that while i know perfectly well you mean by that "wheelchair" but by force of habit, i keep first reading it as "water closet"?

I am so bad for being so remiss in responding.  I'm sorry!

Mamie, I sure hope so.   Thanks for being a cheerleader for me.

Alyss, the appointment was very useful.  Lots of important stuff.

skald, I agree it is really good to have small victories to enjoy.

Wombat, yes, the weather was beautiful.  It helped tremendously with my mood.

Ed,  she wouldn't have given it to you.  I threatened her.  :p

secret, I agree celebrate all the little things -- they add up.
