Well  CPS was here this morning on a complaint from someone that my kids were neglected. God welling the house was picked up and food in the Frig and cabinets Kids were already at school so the guy looked around asked what I did all day. Well since I work at night I sleep 4 hours if possible and then its time to get the kids off the bus , cook dinner, eat, homework if needed, run them to their activites, pick them back up I stay with the littlest child and then home shower get ready for work and the babysitter my daughter comes in I leave and another day starts for me.

The kids are healthy, moody, Reg. children but not neglected. If they were I would have more sleep. He thought that was funny I have done everything I can do I play by the rules, my children do sports, school activites, they have a total of 3 days missed from the 4 this school year, I know the teachers, coaches, nurses, priciples, asst principles, the Traunt officer is my daughters softball coach. I help at school well I send stuff and money there for plays, concerts, ballgames whatever they are in I am there.

So like I asked him What AM I NOT DOING? He didnt have answer he said that everything looked fine and with the kids pictures and tropheys on the wall he knew they did stufff to beat it all he is a football coach my sons will have this year.I know that they need to check things out when called that isnt the problem its that they have to waste the time to check this out when some kids are being neglected, abused and need the help.

Oh well nothing found my kids are fine but to me its like I aint doing enough.

I imagine it can be quite inferiorating to go through, but then again... they are doing their job.  You proved them wrong and things are fine which is a blessing and probably made his day as well.  There are too many children that do fall through the cracks that the parents don't get checked on nearly enough.  I am glad to see you are not one of them!!  good job myzero!!  It is hard to work the shift you do and have children of young age too.

What a crappy thing to do to someone? Really, what basis did they have to make such a call? I am glad to know that CPS wasn't some jerk and they looked at the situation and saw it for what it was. You're a good parent. It sounds like to me  that you are doing everything you need to to guide your children. Be proud of that!

I  completely understand. We went thur it with my grandsons. We were trying to get them placed wth us until their parents got it together. Because the boys parents lived in Kansas and we lived in Missouri. We had to be investigate by the FBI and social workers in both states. While my grandsons sat in fostercare. Vistation broke my heart. Everytime we would have to leave. My oldest grandson would plead Nanny, I'll be good, I promise!  Don't you love me anymore?  How do you explain to a 2yr. No, I'm not a fan of social workers.

How can you get babysitting kids jobs? it is not difficult to get one , just give it some time. Make flyers and put them around your church or community....
I answer the phone to hear the sweetest little voice, "Ti-ti (auntie), I need you."

I explain that I cannot come today because of the weather. "But I nEEEEEEd you," he says, with emphasis.

Ay, mi amor, I need you too - more than...
