my kid.
the middle one.
you ask her how her day at school was and she comes up with some pretty off the wall stuff.

like the other day.

me "how was your day at school today honey?"

her "oh mom it was GREAT! we got to do water karate!"

me "really? what's water karate?"

her "well, our teacher got us all in our swimsuits and we walked to the swimming pool (this pool is a couple miles into town.......and it's about forty degrees out)
then we did karate! in the WATER!"

me. "oh....um.....wow...that's really cool"

so far.....
she's been a lounge singer in a sequined dress standing on her desk while all the kids cheered.

shes learned to ride horses

they've had about 12 dance parties.

her teacher taught  her how to play the flute

her and her boyfriend got married, and the teacher was the "marrier" and they had a wedding party.

they flew in airplanes.

they skydived.

they went to disney land.

etc. etc. etc.

now.....someone has a REALLY vivid imagination........
or someones teacher is in REALLY big trouble.

*grin*.....though now that i think about it....... I'D sign up for a water karate class.

Oh I'd love to join your kid's school! It sounds more fun than anything I'm doing right now! So what if I'll be as old as the teacher? lol..
She sounds like she really does have a great imagination.. Thats one of the most special things about children I feel.. Things they say can be so funny! And you never know, you might have a future writer or artist at your hands here. And not to mention an adorable little girl!

Here it would not be allowed to put the children in the swim suits and then go swimming. Everyone, yes everyone has to take a shower naked before entering the pool.

Seems like your daughter is having a great time at school and learning much. I've never heard of water karate before. Luv skald

silver......*blushing* well...even when they are exhasperating there so cute i can't help it.

    skald....it doesn't actually exist......and they didn't actually go swimming.

it's something she came up with...... water....karate.....*laughing* i guess putting them together would be like a water aerobics class or something.
