Everyone ~ The thing is... these people are NOT all in their 60's most are in their 40s. Of course there are ones that do get to retire and die shortly after... I don't find that too unusual, not good for the person, but not unusual. It is usuall a stroke, heart attack or cancer.. these are the main 3 causes. I don't know... I guess I will be thankful for every day I have here in this life.
ed ~ unfortunately finding another job isn't financially feasable for me. Believe me, if I could afford it and find the same benefits, I'd be gone!
mamie ~ oh this sounds interesting as well.. thank you for that link, I will go check it out. I bet they would frown upon me if I brought one of those air quality things to work... I'd probably get fired. Put it this way.. when we turn on one of those big industrial fans.. it gets greasy black within a few days.. but they say the air is clean to OSHA standards... makes us all wonder when we see those fans dripping with black crap... ya know.
MeMy ~ OH MY... I hope you have your high water boots on!! I like your "kick" and good for you... and stay safe from that river!!
secret/beyond ~ I do find it unusual because they are way too young to have such quick exits so to speak.
rupert ~ heart attack and stroke are connected in a health persepctive. Cancer, well that is just odd all by itself. Thank you for the info though.
bluegum ~ like I said above.. they aren't all older people... most are in their 40's or very early 50's. I donno. but thanks for your input, it matters and makes me feel better.
hey quiet**
First of all thank you for your nice commentary on my poem. I use to be on
tblog.com until a regular (friend) on that site told me about Soulcast . I
browsed it and found it to my liking so here I am!
I just read your most recent blog describing the most unusual incidents at
your place of employment. From what I seem to gather these "incidents"
are to closely related in time and of their medical nature to be just a
random, law of averages occurrence. Having been there 7 years and with
no personal medical afflictions contracted by you does not necessarily mean
you yourself may not be in danger.
Until you have the proper testing performed by an independent laboratory
and the results thoughly examined how can you be sure you have not yourself
become a test experiment. By staying exactly where you are at work is
exactly what management is counting on. Do you really want to play with those
kind of odds. Take care and adios for now!

timm ~ welcome to SC and my blog. thanks for the information too. I wish it was just that easy to walk out the door and quit, but this is not an option for me.
wombie ~ our readings always come back as "within safe levels" too. hmm odd huh when the fans are covered with black dripping "stuff"
mobil ~ I am sure over the many years this co. has been in our area that many co-workers have done that already. I don't need to say what kind of reports we always get back and the treatment we receive for even thinking such things.
skald ~ oh I didn't mean to make you worry my friend. I am okay, and do watch my health. with my diabetes, I always get my blood tested anyway so if something was a miss they would notice I would think.
lbno ~ hey we do have some green forecent stuff that some of these people work in! LOL maybe I should start wearing tinfoil?
cayenneman ~ this company has its own insurance company.... now how convenient is that? ha~ thanks for stopping by. wish quitting was an option, but its not.
I think your best course of action is to contact OSHA. Tell them what concerns you and see if they will come and test the air quality and water supply. It does seem a bit strange that you are having so many deaths. OSHA will usually comply with testing if they think the request is reasonable. So, make sure you have a list of illnesses and deaths that have ocurred in the past 7 years. It will help them to determine what kind of testing needs to be done. The testing they do now may not pick up what is actually creating the problems there.
