Yes it won my tv spot tonight.
Do
to the rain, my D.V.R. was down and I had to make a quick decision on
what to watch. Either Big Brother 9, or One Tree Hill. I suppose by the
title you guessed it already. Why would I dare choose this show over
Big Brother 9? Well the answer is simple actually, I Love BB9, but I
already knew the outcome of the show from watching BBAD and the rumors
spread around the net.
So,
there were rumors about O.T.H. also! This may be true, but when
watching a scripted show, the rumors could be there to throw you off,
besides, this being the 100th episode and all, I wanted to share it
with the cast. Since I've been a fan from the beginning, I felt it was
my duty to give them the top spot tonight!
Well
crafted, a change from previous episodes, this episode had it all.
Love, plotting, danger, the return of old faces, the return of new ones
(Lily), and drama, drama, drama, just as stated in the past week's
promotions. There wasn't a dull moment in tonights episode, and my
expectations were exceeded.
Finally
we were let in on the plot around Lucas' new book, claiming he's not in
love with Peyton anymore, his writing says everything different.
Blinded to this fact, Lindsey finally caught on after trying to be a
good Samaritan and return a left object. I bet she is reeling that she
even bothered. Still it left me wondering would the outcome be
different had she and Peyton not called a truce.
The
return of Karen brought along two joys to the show. Yes I'm talking
about Andy and Lily. For the first time we get to see Lily not hugging
diapers, and I must say that she seems to have Karen's sassiness! The
scenes with her and cousin Jamie were my favorite, and you could just
about feel the family connection. I always did like Andy, but never
felt he was right for Karen, until Keith passed on. I'm happy that they
are together, and he respects the fact that he can never be her number
one guy!
That
Bitch Carry has some nerve! I pretty much guessed how it would go down,
but sometimes I did wonder if she and Dan were working together. He
always did have a way of finding out things about people and using them
against him. Glad he could play the Hero, I bet Haley is eating her
words, maybe to her, she owes him a lot, but where will it all go from
here?
"Lucas
you can't marry Lindsey, cause you still love me..." In that moment
chills ran up my spine and I think tears begin to form, cause Peyton
had finally found her strength. I will admit I fell for it, very sneaky
how it jolted up in there, but very well done. By a show of hands, and
I know I'm not the only one who fell for it, who else thought the same
thing?
I
won't complain, cause i didn't actually want it to go down like that,
but I will give them kudos for it. I just wish that Lucas will quit
being so blind and finally see who it is, he's meant to be with!
Then we are left with the questions.
•We know Brooke wants a baby, but what exactly did she ask Lucas to do?
•What will happen between Haley and Nathan?
•What will become of Lucas and Lindsey and Peyton?
•Does Dan actually think that one act of heroism is all it takes to get back in his family's life?
I know I can't wait until April14th to find out!!!
