It seems that no matter how "loose" I try to be with myself, I am so glad that I had the sense to grab a bungee cord before I left my "post."

(borrowed from a line in "Dances With Wolves.")

"This is my post......this is my post?"

There's alot to be said about holding back.

The ride down the road can be a little hairy sometimes, and occasionally I am glad that I tied a few things down before I hit the gas.

Sometimes I don't care if everything spills out of the backend, but then again, I keep that bungee cord handy to tie my feelings down so they don't blow away when I am on the run.

It's a good thing that they hook together in places.

I never know when I need to place another connection of disconnection.

Still carrying my baggage, but I like having a few places to pop the hinges and drive without constraints if I decide the road got too rough.

I think I get it!  I have a bungee cord in my trunk too Wombie!
Mostly I use it when I'm getting rid of my garbage!

The way I see it, you don't want all of your stuff to just fly off all over the road. Right?

Reaching out, but holding the door closed at the same time....something like that.  Nothing for anyone to get worried about...just my latest view on life...and how I am.

now wombie, the door is closed cause you forgot to "push the red button"  LOL  I do understand what you are trying to say though I think... and one day you will notice that the door does swing both ways, I think you may like it once you get used to it not hitting you in the butt!

Last night hubby said, "Defrost some of those steaks and we'll have them for dinner."

So, I dug deep and came up with a box of steaks that we've had for way too long now. The expiration date was like November 24th.

But, as we we...
