Bread today hit a three dollar mark in California. A box of spaghetti hit a buck fifty. WTF?
We are in a tail spin and we need to be voicing our opinions. I spoke to my Congressional Reps office today and asked what they have been hearing from the general population. I was some what surprised when he said "... believe it or not, we've not heard much from the constituants at all."
Are you kidding me? A freind of mine who runs a restaurant told me that unless they boost the prices in the next few weeks they are going to have to lay off cooks. ( Mexican's).. who knows if they are legal or not. I did not inquire because I did not want to know. Eggs that were forty to seventy cents a dozen (commercial grade) are now two twenty a dozen.
A bud that I know (owns a McD's franchise) said .. what we will have to do now is actually reduce the size of the burger and bun. Make it look like the old one but may be less in composition. Note: May have to. Not are going to or have done so.
The pinch is real.
How many of you have taken the time to invest a few minutes into your future and the future of your family? This is not going to go away by itself we must become proactive.
