This is too good to not share:
I slept way too much today, but somewhere in there I had a dream for the books...
I dreamed that I had "used the facilities" to put it politely----on a familiar object sitting in an oh so wrong place---in front of the computer.
Afterwards, I realized that this wasn't such a good thing, and what was I going to do about it? People were going to know!
So I looked around and saw a black knob that looked like a "flusher" on my console. I smiled and "flushed"---so happy that I had found a solution. As soon as I did, I knew that I had messed up! I remembered that someone had told me, "No matter what you do, don't ever mess with that button."
Sure enough, as soon as I did, things went all wacky!
Disks came flying out of the computer, drawers opened exposing knarled wires, and all I could see on the screen was an old video of some sort with people I knew, but like a soap opera playing.
I freaked out, of course. In my dream I was crying and wailing like a fool.
Skip over to having my son here who sat down to try to "fix" it, all the while telling me that I should never have touched that "button."
He was asking me to tell him some of my code links---and I was confused about what he meant. "You mean, like "My Definitions?"
He was frustrated with me until I finally got it.
"Oh! You mean, like "Soulcast?"
I woke up while he was still working on it.
I was so glad to wake up and realize that it was only a dream!
Maybe he fixed it before he woke me up.
Moral of the story?
I don't have one. Do you? (I just thought it was funny enough to tell you)
