I always wondered which one of my grandchildren would inherit my heart!  In saying that I mean, to see things, and care about things, with "the" heart.  Several of them do, what a testament that is to me and God, because I know that heart I am talking about came from God.   To know that I imparted something to them that makes me look up to God and say thank you Lord, for giving them that part of you, I most value...

Kennethl is 13 yrs. old.  This picture was taken two years ago, when he was 10 going on 11.  He is a very sensitive boy.  Some look at that as a bad thing, but I do not.  Oh yeah, it gives him some trouble in school, because he gets kidded a lot about his ear ( he was a premmie and the cartilage never formed in his right ear, so it flops down and they call him "elf"), but most of the time, his sensitivity is a good thing.

He always sticks for the "underdog".  The one he thinks is being treated unfairly.  He watches over his little sister, Cora, and makes sure no harm comes to her.  He is a good friend to me and my daughter (his mother), because he loves just sitting around and chatting with us.

He tells us about his day, his thoughts, his concerns, things that he cares most about.  He, like myself, loves to watch the news, and like me, he prays for anyone he knows has problems.

Yes, Kenny has my heart, and everytime I sit there and listen to him talk with such passion about things, it brings a smile to my face....

March 20, 2008, update:   My grandson told me it was alright to do a blog about him if I wanted to, but he told me he would appreciate it if I changed his name to a made up one, so I took his name off the blog and wrote in Kenneth....

Today I met her daughter. Her son is seven, who I haven't met yet. I'm sure we'll get on fine, I have a stepdad who was pretty awesome when him and my mum started out. We're ...
Dont Take the Girl...
I wasn't judging her the night she walked into the bar
wearing a tigers jersey from the night before,
from the floor where he left it,
from the escapade that controlled
the shift of the cloth
from man to ground.
