yesterday i was screaming in silence,
and you both paused to listen.
yesterday i was drowning in pain,
and you both grasped my weakened hands.
yesterday i was struggling for words to say,
and you gave me your gentle voices.
last night i looked at the somnolent sky.
the crescent moon was curled up, quiet,
hiding alone in its blanket of clouds.
then two angels swept to my side
and lulled my troubled soul to sleep
cradled in their starlit wings.

Moon, how wonderful and beautiful you are just as your Angels. I happen to know a bit about them hehe could their Initials be D & J? I find a rather warm and familiar feeling in your Angel Poem as I also lay upon my bed eyes closed imagining the Moon with a misty glow about it last night. thinking also of a poem about the moon and love. Dear everyone--
I write this note, not in my usual "comment format," but as I would write a private letter to a dear friend, because I consider you now as dear friends. In my 17 months here at Soulcast, rarely have I felt deeply humbled and made speechless by such overwhelming response as you have made me feel here, at this moment.
As I read each comment, my instinct is to imagine the blogger behind the words, and give him/her the tightest hug that I can. And I will hug you fiercely but quietly. I won't dare utter any word, for fear that what will come out of my mouth will be a freak sound, a ridiculous hybrid sob and laugh and rebel yell that would probably startle you and ruin the magic of the moment.
Oh, to have a free 24-hour day that I can devote to SC starting right now, and to be free of any personal obligation or privacy concerns, so that I could tell everyone how I deeply appreciate all your kind words.
I've been meaning to write a poem like this, always in my dark and low moments, when a simple gesture of sympathy and understanding was all it took to pull me back again into my usual cheerful self. Yes, what inspired me to actually write the poem were Babylu and Papajack. They played the role of my angels yesterday.
But I hasten to add that all of us can play, and do play, the role of angels to each other, here online as well as in real life. Like Gingersoul said, "Sometimes dragonflies, sometimes butterflies, sometimes little angels...," what matters most is that these little gestures help soothe our pained souls and help us cope through a restless day and a sleepless night.
I will never forget all of you. And I hope to meet you in real life, somewhere in time, so that I could pay you back all the warmth and smiles and kindness that you have given me. It is all stored here, in my heart.

You know moonriver, people here effect me deeply you are one and one I would be so very honored to meet you in real life.
I have a love of dragonflies and damsels of which we have millions of up here, I love to sit and watch them and by chance sometimes they land within my breath, dance about my face leaving me feeling so very light and loved.

Thank you again for the kind words. Yesterday, my very special angel visited me, talked to me in a sweet voice, and wrapped me tight in her starlit butterfly wings. Had a very peaceful full-moon night sleep. No need to howl and growl... for now. :-)
