I just love this cat. I feel bad because she gets more face time at this blog than the other cats, but it's simply because she just commands attention with her antics and extreme cuteness. This is by far the biggest cat I've ever owned. She weighs in around 20 lbs. And with the fluffiness of her fur, she looks twice as big as that.
She is also the clumsiest animal I've ever seen too. They always say that cats land on their feet, no matter what. But not this one. She often rolls out of chairs or off the couch and lands on her head. Once, she was sleeping in the kitchen chair and fell off right into the water dish. She's not quite all there. She's a special needs cat. She can't jump or climb and needs to be lifted onto stuff.
Like this drawer for example. She can't get in there on her own, so she'll ask you to open it and then she wants a boost to climb in. It's her secret hiding spot. And if any of the other cats dare to even think about sleeping in there, she will go over and smack them. It's HER drawer. She doesn't share.
She is also afraid of heights. Most cats love to climb and sit on top of tall things and look down on the world. But not this one. We've helped her into the window before and she panics. Probably because she knows she can't jump down on her own. So she'd rather not even be up there.
But she's an excellent hunter and finds all sorts of gross things to kill and eat. And if it's something that flies, like a moth or a bird, she lets one of the other cats catch it for her, then she steals it. I mentioned that before. She is the queen of the kitty castle. You don't wanna mess with her. Trust me. I've got the scratches on my side to prove it.
Good thing she's cute....
