But some of you are still worried, so I found this simple way of using a proxy to surf here. A proxy gives the site its own ip address instead of yours, so anyone trying to find you gets nothing they can use.
Setting up a proxy can be a pain though. But here's a simple way to do it - Proogly. You just go there, type in the site you wanna see and you're there - but the only thing the site sees is the proxy - and anyone monitoring your network sees is that you visited Proogly.
Can it be abused? yeah. Anything can. But this is good for those of us who want a little more privacy for ourselves.
