A dozen rockets and three mortars were fired at Israel late Wednesday and early Thursday, Israeli security officials said. Two rockets struck a warehouse and soccer stadium in the rocket-weary Israeli town of Sderot, but no one was injured. Israeli aircraft struck a loaded rocket launcher early Thursday, but no Palestinian injuries were reported.

The rocket barrage from Gaza came after Israeli undercover forces opened fire on the car carrying Shehadeh. The Israeli military said the Islamic Jihad commander planned suicide bombings that killed dozens of Israelis.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel would keep pursuing militants involved in attacks in Israelis.

    Gaza rockets barrage southern Israel

Arabs won't accept a Jewish nation of any size in the Middle East, not even the size of a tomato. Jews have the right to have themselves a little country in the Middle East, but Arabs disagree to the point of wanting to kill them all and drive them into the sea, as Nasser promised to do. Today the Arab world is even more rabid than it used to be in 1948 when they attacked Israel in a war of extermination to finish what Germany started.

I think Israel should insist on an oath of loyalty from everyone within its current borders (most definitely including the so-called Occupied Territories), an oath that accepts Israel's right to exist and that denounces terrorism. Anyone refusing to sign that oath should be immediately deported. The only reason why the Palestinians don't have their own country right now is because Arafat refused to accept the right of Israel to exist. So what are you going to do with that? How do you accept that attitude and still give Arafat a country? We hate you, we want to exterminate you, we'll never accept your right to live here, now give us our own country.

So-called liberal democrats bitch about Israel's sins, completely missing the big picture here, that the Arabs won't let them live no matter what they do. The Arabs are murdering Jews every chance they get, and particularly like to target little kids. That's whose side you're on. You comfortable being on that side?

lfbno7---Are you talking to me directly?  I thought you knew whose side I am on.  If I were Israel, I would bomb the heck out of them.  Despite however the liberal-biased media tries to portray them.

Have I missed something in what I posted?  I thought I was just posting something that gives an account of what is happening.  I guess I missed any bias that might have been implied.

So, if I have, please enlighten me, because I don't want to post anything that is prejudicial....I just didn't read it that way...

After re-reading your response, apparently you were directing your remarks to the So-called liberal democrats that bitch about Israel's sins.

just for the record here, I do not consider myself "liberal" where it comes to us defending Israel.  I am for Israel 100%.

The U.S. is responsible for the failure to create a Palestinian homeland.  These poor people live in refugee camps without compensation, citizenship, housing, health care and human rights.  They live under occupation with martial law, restrictions on mobility and curfews.  It is unfair.  They deserve a right of return back into Gaza, the West Bank and Jordan.  The Israeli descendants of refugees from Arab lands should be compensated with full rights of return, land, housing and return of any assets as well for the sake of fairness.

Israel has settled onto Palestinian land without recognizance and this has been documented by leftist groups such as Gush Shalom, Jewish Voices for Peace, and Peace Now.  B'Tselem and others deal with human rights.  I suppose I understand that Israel has a right to self-defense against militants in Lebanon but it has nothing to do with refugees and the occupation of the West Bank.  It doesn't justify settlements.  They can deal with Syria how they want as long as it isn't warfare and aggression as it was by the U.S. in Iraq.  I am not against their right to exist with a Jewish majority and understand that Jerusalem is important to them.  Why is there always focus on the Israeli side and never any exploration of the Palestinian side?  They are not all militants and are treated like subhumans.  It is anti-Arabism.

By the way, I do not support a right of return into Israel and support its right to exist but there are always two sides to these types of conflicts.  I don't agree with the 'Greater Israel' settler's movement.  I will point out that human rights groups such as AI (have sat in on some of their meetings out of curiosity) focus on the wrong issues by trying to eliminate the right to security and favouring the right to protect militants from torture and ending targeting militants by soldiers out of security. A house demolition and gunshot wound to a militant is unfortunate but a security necessity dictated by the rules of the game.  It is the bombing of civilians that bothers me and so on.  They have placed militants in the same human rights category as soldiers, government officials and civilians.

I'm for Israel too. I know you are, Dee. Most people get lost in their own bullshit, missing the point that the fucking Arabs need to just leave the Jews alone already, and that is the only issue there. There is no other issue. And they never will. Because they hate their guts. You can't reason with people who have their head planted firmly up their ass. People will find a way to side with Satan. Most brains don't work too well.

difficult situation over there in the middle east

I wish the Jews accepted a homeland somewhere else, somewhere where they would actually be liked and wanted. There are such places. They pay taxes. Maybe Canada or Brazil or something. Unfortunately their homeland is among the people on earth who hate them the most. They will never be left alone there. They will be harassed to death, forever. It doesn't matter what they do. No matter what they do, it won't make a difference.

Their only shot at securing their school buses from bombs is to remove all people who refuse to accept their right to exist, just deport them, deport them out of the Occupied Territory, because the Occupied Territory is too close to them, deport them beyond the boundaries of Israel, and if they are still close enough to shell Israel, go to war and kick their ass and steal more territory until you have a defendable border and no jihad assholes lobbing bombs at you.

The only choice Israel has is extreme violence. It's the only thing they can do. I wish they would do it already and solve the fucking problem. Kick the haters out. It's the only thing they can do to protect themselves. They shouldn't give anyone an inch of ground. What for? They just get fucked for it. Kick the Arabs the hell out. There's nothing else they can do. Too bad.

It would be the same thing unless they came here....I guess my history is getting a little rusty, because that area is a lot closer to where they began at isn't it?
