There are approximately 7,000 current human languages.

Sometimes, I wonder, why so many?
Computers have switched over from FORTRAN, Basic and COBOL
Why don’t people switch over to better communication method?
Why can’t we get over primitive languages? Cave-age languages?
Will it not be better to have everyone on same platform?
Maybe, that’s why computers are replacing humans? Better adaptability?

Telepathy, mental communication in ideas instead  of words! Lack of communication, thats why we don't get along too well!

    Esperanto?

In some ways, English is becoming the "Lingua Franca" of the world. And yes, I can appreciate the irony of this statement.

With regards to computers, better languages have been developed in the last fifty years or so, but one language that rose about thirty-five years ago, C, has pretty much become the lingua franca of computer programming.

I'm sure that other examples exist in other disciplines.

Rupert7- Precisely put. Lack of comminucation. But again, why lack? Is it that our fears are driving us? and only fears? Fear of failure? Fear of rejection? Maybe,I am overcomplicating!
    TinSoldier- Agreed on C.
But yesterday I realised- Binary codes have never been changed. Maybe, on the same lines, Langauge of Yin and Yang can never be changed and everythng built on it's soild foundation?
Sometimes, I think, I am weird!
