Do you remember the song “Sunglasses at Night” popularized by Corey Hart in the 80s? Well if you do, then you’re either part of the Gen X generation or your older sibling, aunt, mom, dad or uncle decided to dump their music collection on your lap. I’m a victim of the latter, which is why I immediately remembered the song upon reading this article.

Tag Heuer, a company known for their expensive time pieces, has decided to come up with a pair of sun glasses meant for night driving called “Night Vision.” This pair of sun glasses was originally designed for Le Mans race car drivers and works by correcting low-light short-sightedness that most people endure when driving between twilight to sunrise. According to their press release, the glasses help “optimize precision and enhance perception of contrasts for more comfort while driving at night.” The frame of the Night Vision sun glasses is made of titanium. The lens of the sun glasses is tinted yellow and is given an anti-reflective treatment that reduces glare. Despite its shade, the lens is still able to provide a clear and sharp view when worn. The Night Vision sun glasses also comes with the standard Tag Heuer eyewear guarantee indicating that the lens are shatter-resistant, ultra light and provide UV protection.

The Night Vision glasses are scheduled to be released early this year and will come in wide and panorama styles. So if you feel like driving at night and insist on wearing sun glasses, make sure that you wear one of these. Just try not to sing along to Corey Hart’s song while wearing it though.
