Well here it is daylight savings time once again. I got up this morning and set my clock ahead, as I really had forgotten about it before I went to bed! That was a fast hour!

Anyway, this weekend my brother and his family came down to visit me. A long over due visit as they were supposed to come down on Thanksgiving. So, we had our Christmas on Friday evening. The kids liked what they got and that is all good.

Saturday I took the girls to the mall and they had a great time shopping from one end to the other. They both made out pretty darn good on sale items too. What great little shoppers they are. The 15 year old got about $75 worth of clothing for $20. She was thrilled. My SIL even found some hoodies on sale for her son for $3 each!! I guess this is the time to go find winter stuff as they are now well into spring and summer stuff already. I couldn’t believe they already had bathing suits up!! OMG we still have snow on the ground!

Before they left today, I helped my 2 nieces iron on some rinestoes they had gotten for their hoodies.  As I stood their ironing, the youngest one was saying "oh, you got a cool wenis.  It has dimples, and is soft!"  I said "Whaaaat???" I learned something new from my nieces…a new word. “wenis”! Imagine that!! I didn’t even know I had a wenis!   Am I the only one who didn't know that everyone has a wenis??

My wenis is all cracked and dry, I put lotion on it (them) about once or twice a year. My family is always talking about how cracked and dry my wenis (I suppose when you really think about it they together are wenises no?) wenises are.

Cute story Quiet, sounds like a nice time with brother and family, don't you just love when that happens?

I had to go look at my wenises in the mirror. They're ugly. I don't even wanna talk about it.

I was on pins and needles waiting for the link to go through--wondering what the heck a wenis was!  That is so funny!  I wonder where she learned that word?  Glad you had a nice visit with your family!
  • MissMimi said on Mar 09, 2008....
LOL  now, quiltedone, you should not be talking about wenises in mixed company.  How embarrassing (and hilarious)!
  • Me-Myself&I said on Mar 09, 2008....
Wenis is the word of the day!! lol....Thanks for the giggle. *smile* It does sound kinky, doesn't it? ~see ya
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
mobil ~ the girls liked my winis, but it is pretty old and saggy, but it does have dimples so I guess that is what makes mine so cute!  I am sorry to hear that yours has cracks!  Thats gotta hurt!  put a little bag balm on them.
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
skald ~ there is a link up there to click on that shows a picuture of what they are.  You will find that pretty funny.
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
Joy ~ now take good care of those wenis's - hmm wonder what the plural is of that?  Wenii?  LOL
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
Twyla ~ I don't like mine either!  I would prefer to keep mine covered!  haha
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
wombie ~ funny you should ask that question too.  I was going to ask her, but we all were laughing so hard it slipped my mind. I will have to call her and ask!
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
MissMimi ~ My wenis(s) are saggy.  :(     And its okay to talk in mixed company... we are all friends here... LOL
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
MeMy ~ It cracked me up!  I thought at first they were making it all up... but sure enough I found that link! haha!
  • skald said on Mar 09, 2008....
How could I miss that link. Thor was just showing me his wenis  today and it was red.he felt bad. I hope it will be better soon. Sometimes if I lay with my elbows on the bare leather of my leather chairs or sofa I become sore, red and sensitive too.
  • Eilan said on Mar 09, 2008....
My wenises (wenii?) are smooth.  They usually smell good, too.
  • nursecutie said on Mar 09, 2008....

I have used this word lots of times!! Only I wasn't talking about my elbow skin......LOL! It has a totally different meaning for me. I guess I am not hip enough to know the urban dictionary definition!

I still remember it being used on Friends. It was something that Chandler did for his job. He was always complaining that he wasn't happy with his Weanus! LOL!

quiet- Ah, and they have no feeling. That's why I can place my elbows on the table with my head in my hands and not get uncomfortable while my wife tells me what I did wrong.

I had no idea what it meant until your post.  You're much hipper than me.  :-)

Quiet...i went immediately to ask my daughter about this wenis thing......well, it turned out she knew exactly what i was talking about...

Even more....she smirked a me like "Oh, you too know this stuff?" So i asked her why she was grinning. She is 12, mind you,

    So she told me that:

The skin of our hand between the thumb and the index is now called ''fagina".

You know, they joke with each other and they say "Your wenis (elbow) fits my fagina".

Because, if you do it, its true...the elbow fit that space. I was like...what???

    I am so doomed ...lol...

  • bluegum said on Mar 09, 2008....

  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
Eilan ~ okay, now how do you get your nose all the way to your wenis (wenii) to smell them?  You must either have a short forearm or a long nose! haha!  here I sit trying to put my elbow to my nose... I am glad nobody is watching me. LOL
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
nursecutie ~ I had no idea what my niece was talking about either.. it sure did surprise me.  I am so not up on the "new" language of today.
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
beyond ~ the next time she sits you down for one of those "talks", ask her if she wants to feel your wenis first.  That ought to change the subject for a bit!  LOL  Now, I can't imagine you doing anything wrong!!
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
ginger ~ oh, boy I think you are doomed!! And only 12!! I will have to ask my nieces about that one too.  I will be curious to what they may say... and so won't thier mother!  So, now we have learned 2 new words today.
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....
bluegum ~ I think mine need a wenis lift or maybe its a tuck.  But then, you wait til you get my age! haha
  • quietone said on Mar 09, 2008....

LOL. Oh dear. THanks for sharing Quietone. Now, I have a new word.
  • MissMimi said on Mar 09, 2008....

I was looking at mrMimi's wenises today.  I used to like to play with them.  The older he gets the droopier they get.

You know, my eye level in my chair is pretty much at wenis level.  I can indulge in some covert wenis watching.

quiltedone, this is a great post.

  • polarheart said on Mar 10, 2008....
LOL Quietone!!! (And Mimikins!!)  That is really hilarious! I dont take such good care of my wenises, I really should moisturise them more often ;-)

  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
Zayda ~ now when your kids in school start talking "wenis" you will understand what they are saying!
  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....

MissMimi ~ LOL wenis level!!  Just think if you rest your  elbows on a thick woven material you can have a quilted looking wenis!  haha! < quiltedone! hehe>

  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
polar ~ I had no idea either.  I had to look it up to make sure my nieces weren't trying to pull one over on me!
  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
destiny ~ haha gotcha!! Now you have a new word to throw around.  :o
  • scipio said on Mar 10, 2008....

Wenis is the only part of the body where you can't hide your age.

  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
scipio ~ you don't think they can do a wenis lift? Or a wenis tuck?  haha! mine sure does show my age, but my niece thought it was cute!  LOL
  • Mamie said on Mar 10, 2008....

Oh QUIET! I snorked coffee right out of my nose!! You are so hilarious! Funny, I had to look up some lingo on the net to dicipher a note from a young one I know....he was "picking up some forties" and then mortified by the bonnaroo...from what I have found out, the forties (which I thought were going to be joints, are FRIENDS and the bonnoroo is homemade personal porn. Anyone, feel free to enlighten me if my urban dictionary has failed me!

Quiet, I am thrilled that our wenises are likely fine! teehee

Dr. Commander Siddhar Selvam wear a table cloth around his waist like a beach towel. His daughter's friends also like his wenis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
Mamie ~ picking up so me 40's in my time either meant those cans of beer like Fosters that came in the 40oz size.. or a bunch of middle age men!  hahaha.  Now talking about "skip reading" when I first read your comment I could have sworn I read bonnaroo meant homemade popcorn! I thought well how nice the kid is going to go get his friends and make popcorn and watch a movie!  oh, yeah!  LOL
  • quietone said on Mar 10, 2008....
polar ~ hahaha... I see that!  I have already deleted a couple! I think I better go get some elbow pads and cover my little wenii up!
