Well, we had our big blizzard this weekend, which means we are all stuck at home because the roads are awful and nothing's open anyway. This is a picture of the winter wonderland that is our yard.  The drift in front of the window is almost 3 feet high.

It snowed and blew (and if the past tense of blow is blew, why isn't the past tense of snow snew, I'd like to know) until about 4 o'clock this afternoon. mrMimi ventured outside to take pics and shovel out a bit. When he shovels snow, it always causes me to yell loving and caring things out the door, like:

You're not a kid anymore, y'know! I'm gonna get really pissed off if you have a heart attack!

And he calmly goes and does exactly as he pleases.

This better be winter's last hurrah.

Mimi: We didn't get nearly as much snow as you guys did. We only ended up with about 6 inches of snow, thank goodness. I too really hope that this is winter's last hurrah!

I hope Mr. Mimi takes it easy out there.

Spring has come early here to Oregon. The last week plus we have had temperatures in the 60s and dry for this time of year.

    That's just weird.

There was news of your bad weather on the Icelandic radio this evening. Oh how I hate such weather in March. To see your house like that. I hope this winter will be over soon for you. (((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))

oh my mimi! that's allot of snow! this winter brings back memories of my childhood, weather i haven't seen in 30 years! i'm thinking that the weather change wasn't due to global warming or a new ice age, it was just a natural weather cycle.

The sun was out all day yesterday and today, so some of the snow is gone.  Luckily at this time of year, it won't hang around for long.

Of course, those filthy parking-lot mountains of snow will linger until August!
